Many dealerships have elected to be open with a skeleton crew, hosting barbecues and balloons to lure in shoppers in the event the weather isn’t awesome for family activities.

For many the holiday sale prices will extend until Monday, July 6th, to be sure everyone gets a fair shot at the values- and costly full page ads.

In places where Sunday Blue Laws are in effect, dealers are opting to give their staff the Saturday off, hoping to capture pent-up demand on Sunday.

With 2016 models on the way, this is your last month to get a decent choice of color and features along with the manufacturers incentives at the peak of their game.

TOYOTA, NISSAN, HONDA fight for #1 status.

Meanwhile the summer car deals continue with 0% financing for 36-60 months on top sellers: Corolla, Sentra and Civic.

Rebates are holding at $500-1000 for those not taking the low finance rates, which is a great deal (and better value) as long as you don’t pay the note off early, trade the car before the term ends or otherwise dispose of the car earlier than the loan finish.

Personally, I think the cheap lease deals are the best opportunity to maximize your car costs, if you have the credit score to lease.

USED CARS HOLIDAY CAR DEALS best on luxury cars.

Look for Used cars to stay about the same in price, as anything under $5,000 continues to get older and have high miles.

Mid-size and full-size SUV’s like the Acura MDX, Jeep Grand Cherokee and  Cadillac Escalade ESV are bringing top dollar!

Many dealers are now advertising AS-IS cars on Craig’s List, so beware of AS-IS really means exactly that!
