10 Tips for buying a car – July 4th

8.    Know the incentives that suit you best. If you never keep a car until it’s paid-off or like to pay the loan off sooner, then 0% may not be as good a deal as taking the rebate.

9.     Know your driving car ownership style. If you keep cars past the factory warranty, consider an extended service contract that matches your miles per year and length of ownership.

10.   Factory maintenance contracts are a good deal. Generally paying upfront keeps your cost locked in and your warranty in effect. While you can go to an outside mechanic while under warranty, it is always a good ide to have a licensed dealer check you car annually for recalls, software updates and service bulletins you may not know about.
