This is NOT the headline FORD wants you to see: “2011 V8 FORD Mustang problems stall delivery.”  However, lack of information on the 2011 FORD V8 Mustang problem has my client’s order on the Ramp 51 of terminal hold.

Here is Las Vegas we have an Area 51 and it is military in nature, off-limits to us locals and shrouded in secrecy, reminescent of the aura surrounding this situation on  RAMP51 Mustang in limbo. The folklore and fables of Area 51 might also resemble the FORD of the past, except that they aren’t shipping known problems, of course, they’re the only ones that know what the actual problem is, something not lost on THIS civilian.

Considering the car was ordered specifically for this gentleman, as an automatic, (some manuals have reached the dealership), and no one at FORD can tell us why it’s on hold other than it’s a Quality Control problem, well this is NOT good news for FORD MUSTANG lovers hoping to get back behind the wheel of some real horsepower at a reasonable price.

I am certainly an advocate for not shipping a known problem and then living with an unhappy client, as GMC did with a cluster of Acadia’s a few years ago, however, in an attempt to REORDER the vehicle again, same specs, the factory wouldn’t accept the order???

Now we all know a quality control problem could be anything from engine to paint to upholstery to tires… SO if someone (Hi Scott Monty) at FORD would like to tell us what’s REALLY going on, that would be great.  However, Mr. I would really prefer a new, NEW 2011 Ford Mustang v8, rather than the one collecting dust on Ramp 51, providing you can tell him when it might come. Otherwise, it may be back to the drawing board or Dodge Challenger SRT or Chevy Corvette ZR1.

Looking forward to hearing from someone in the general vicinity of Ramp 51.
