2013 Black Friday Holiday Car Sales Start Now
Holiday car sales have crept out as early as Veteran’s Day this year, with luxury brands Lexus, Infiniti and Mercedes Benz jumping the gun.
Lease payments will once again rage over low interest rate financing, as most company executives are using the 36 mos. lease option as a business bonus perk with tax write-off status.
The big winners are sedans like the Jaguar XF Turbo, Lexus ES350 and Mercedes Benz CLA, at $399.00 a month with varying amounts of cash down and monthly mileage averaging 10k a year for 36 mos.
As car prices creep higher, the luxury car buyer welcomes the lower lease payment as a means to reduce cash down payment and long-term overhead, not to mention a reduced sales tax investment.
Almost all luxury nameplates include some included service and a warranty well past 36 mos. Leasing this season is a ho-ho-ho no-brainer for anyone looking for a stylish ride for a minimum outlay, not to mention a sure hit on Christmas/Hanukkah Day.
Infiniti is pushing their SUV, recently re-badged from the JX35 to the QX60, a reference to their top-of-the-line QX product line. The early TV commercials are a quick response to the just revealed remodel of the LEXUS GX470 with a drop in base price more closely aligned with the Infiniti suv, both 100.00 less than the Mercedes Benx ML450. Expect Acura to jump into the Holiday SUV game with their new 2014 MDX vs. the Lexus RX… stay tuned.
Holiday Car Sales push Low Monthly Payment Luxury Car Leasing
The move to launch holiday car sales before Thanksgiving is a tip-off to get more car deals into the calendar year, and ahead of the toy, clothes and electronics binging destined to come.
Luxury car buyers will also find selection gets thinner as procrastination does not work in one’s favor on a car lot, unlike the reduced price of stocking stuffers the night before Christmas. Moving the pre-Black Friday Sales needle two weeks ahead of turkey day will certainly give shoppers more time to check inventory and settle on the ultimate ride-gift. Many dealers are offering free bows with purchase (Value $150.00) and are willing to “hide” Santa’s present on the lot til the magic day.
With
Hanukkah starting on Thanksgiving Day, the need to get into the holiday spirit early is even more pressing for those needing eight days worth of goodies, a car can easily cover for a week’s worth of unwrapping.
Gaudin Porsche of Las Vegas announced a preemptive strike on Black Friday by offering a
Porsche Boxster for $399.99 a month, on in-stock inventory while supplies last. Expect Jaguar, Audi, BMW and Acura to launch their Christmas Wish List ads in the next three weeks as the Los Angeles and Motor Trend Car shows hit the nations largest cities.
Las Vegas will welcome Motor Trend the Friday of Thanksgiving Weekend, giving Las Vegas visitors some relief from the turkey hang-over.
Gaudin Jaguar of Las Vegas is offering FREE tickets to the Las Vegas Motor Trend Car show with a no-obligation test drive. See dealer for details.
