Lots of sage, sound and interesting car buying tips and car buying techniques from those with years of experience, often noted as “CAR DEALER SECRETS” and “How to STEAL a CAR-LEGALLY”. However there is only one MyCarlady (some car dealers will say, thankfully so) and back in the day I wrote a book titled “The Internet Car Buying Guide” , (now available as an e-book on this website, but alas, I digress).
Few women who have actually sold cars, are still in the auto industry and offer advice from our, female perspective.
I also believe the research from J.D. Powers which states that 87% of the car deals made in America happen only with a woman’s opinion, advice and approval. While many women hate the car buying process, it isn’t the shopping and analysis they hate, it’s the game-playing or attitude of the (generally male) dealerships.
Unfortunately, much of the car buying advice for women (and men) is geared to the male, with language and suggestions that most women find offensive, uncomfortable, or is out dated.
My tips for women buying cars are about tried and true techniques on the most time efficient and cost effective ways to process the research and how to avoid the un-neccesary confrontation and negotiation before you get your blood-pressure off the charts.
Here are some articles on various topics regarding car buying for women, and PLEASE remember you can always ask me for advice (it’s free) at ASK MYCARLADY.
