Distracted driving is a huge problem in Las Vegas, especially in the RESORT Corridor.
Any type of distraction is a problem, but imagine the heavy pedestrian and vehicular traffic of people unfamiliar with the area.
ADD to the mix a law allowing thirsty drink-legal adults to carry open containers, and numerous incidents of people failing to stay in the properly marked crosswalks when skipping across the Strip.

using your phone for NAVIGATION while driving,
as in HOLDING or LOOKING DOWN AT IT, can be the cause of an accident or
a hefty FINE of $50, $100 to $250.00 for the third offense.
Add in the SCHOOL ZONES which are 15 mph!
Going over the limit in a school zone will cost you…. another $150.00 ++
LOTS OF CONSTRUCTION ZONES around town drop the posted speed limit by 25 mph,
Going over the speed limit in a construction zone will cost you… another $150.00+++ fine!
and you could be emptying your wallet on something other than vacation fun.
