The first thing you notice about the 2014 Jaguar F-Type is its body. The sweeping curves and tight back-end are modeled from the style houses of Milan while the melodic tones of the dual sport-tuned exhaust are purely German. The deep base growl topped off with a back-flow pop give this car more presence than the 2013 Mercedes Benz SL550 or the 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera S Cab. Here is a brief “engine roar” comparison video taped at a Jaguar training exercise last week in Austin, Texas.

2014 Jaguar F-Type drowns out the competition.

And here is the full-blown Supercharged 340hp v6 2014 Jaguar F-Type test-drive review from yours truly, Sarah Lee of MyCarlady.com.

This is NO chick car; the  F-Type is the first new roadster from Jaguar in 38 years. Not since the E-Type have we seen such praise from the auto gods. The choice of powerful engines: v6 340, v6 “s” 380 and v8 “s” 495hp will satisfy every lead foot in the family. The car is roomy and there is room inside for the tall and long-legged. The value, style and drive will put luxury sports cars back where they belong, on the road or the track, not beating up your body.
