Nevada DMV closed on SATURDAYS

DMV will NO LONGER accept ANY walk-in clients on SATURDAYS, starting Aug. 15th. This is due to the extreme danger of hundreds of people standing less than 6′ apart in 100+ degree heat, for hours on end.

DMV is extending operating hours to 7am -6pm Monday – Friday, by Appointment only beginning August 17th.

As of this moment the Nevada DMV computer system shows NO APPOINTMENTS available for the month of NOVEMBER in HENDERSON.  Anxious drivers have gone to the DMV location at America Pacific and Stephanie St. in Henderson to make an appointment. Learning their trip was a waste, the appt. system wasn’t broken. The DECEMBER appointment option was not yet available.

With the annual FREE REGISTRATION Sales Drive at the Valley AutoMall just weeks away, many are wondering how DMV will handle the onslaught.

If you bought a car last month and your 30 day temporary tag is expiring, you may consider a registration service rather than the late fee.
